Pedalling Forward: How a Cycling Race Is Changing the Story of Ode-Itsekiri
Team Cascade supported the first cycling race in Ode Itsekiri, Warri, promoting community wellness, environmental appreciation, and active lifestyles. Organized by Iwere Sports Center, the event brought together professional cyclists and newcomers, highlighting the region’s creeks and mangroves while encouraging youth participation, outdoor recreation, and sustainable community engagement in Delta State.
I Sabi Do Am – Upcycling Challenge
In 2024, Team Cascade collaborated with Warri Fashion Week to launch the “I Sabi Do Am” Upcycling Challenge in Warri, Delta State. The initiative encouraged designers and young creatives to transform old clothes into innovative fashion pieces, promoting sustainable fashion, textile waste reduction, and environmental responsibility through community-driven creativity and circular economy practices.
How Theatre Is Building the Next Generation of Nigerian Talent
In 2022, Team Cascade staged “The Amazing Gift” in Warri, Delta State, using performing arts to advance youth development and human-capital growth. The volunteer-led production engaged young talents in acting, dancing, singing, costume design, and stage production—creating a platform for creative expression, skills development, and community-based arts education in Nigeria.

Its first initiative, #RelationshipPlus – Towards a Value-Added Life, fostered impactful conversations on trust, leadership, and education, laying the foundation for sustained community strengthening and social change in Nigeria.
