Education is not limited to textbooks and neither is preparation for a new school year.

Through our Back-to-School Vocational Training in Lagos State and Warri, Team Cascade created a holistic experience for students. Beyond vocational skill sessions designed to nurture creativity and self-reliance, the program also addressed a critical but often overlooked need: vision care.

In partnership with Metroeyes, children received eye checkups, and those in need of corrective lenses were supported with glasses. For some students, it was the first time they could clearly see the board in a classroom.

The initiative was made possible through the support of partner organizations and generous individuals who believe that access to education must be practical, inclusive, and sustainable.

By combining skills development with health support, the program ensured that students were not only ready to return to school, but ready to thrive.
