EDUCATE ONE CHILD PROJECT

EDUCATE ONE CHILD PROJECT

1000000 Needed Donation

To enable children across board to have access to quality education and also providing the state-of-the-art facilities for learning where possible.

Not every parent earn much, because they live below the minimum wage of the country, and as such

cannot afford the cost of sending their children to private schools where there is keen attention to

educate children using best practices available.

WHY EDUCATE ONE CHILD?

– One in five children is left out of the class room every day. More than half these kids’ lives in sub

Saharan Africa.

– Nigeria has over 10.2 million out-of-school children and the numbers keep rising

– Children with no access to quality education have little alternative but to enter the

labour market, where they are often forced to work in dangerous and exploitative

conditions.

– According to the 2018/2019 Annual School Census, the most endemic states affected by the

out-of-school children were; Kano, Akwa-Ibom, Katsina, Kaduna, Taraba, Sokoto, Yobe, Zamfara, Oyo, Benue Jigawa and Ebonyi states.

– Low budgetary allocation to education is a bane to the sector at all levels.

Volunteered support!

As we embark on the journey, we need every support we can get from everyone to ensure we have a

sustainable development in the education sector.

Sending our children to school is not just enough, that’s why we ask these questions:

  • Are the children effectively taught at school?
  • Do the teachings really reflect in the lives of our children?
  • What are the setbacks on the part of our teachers?
  • Should the responsibility of educating one child be left to the teachers at school alone?
  • Is the burden of quality education resting on the government alone?

WITH YOUR VOLUNTEERED SUPPORT  we will be able to:

EDUCATE children, teachers, parents and guardians about the simple things each can do to make a

difference in the education sector

ENGAGE individuals, organizations, stakeholders in collaborative efforts to create a positive disruption

and a sustainable education sector

ENCOURAGE individuals, and organizations who are leading by positive examples in their various

Spheres and SUSTAIN a quality academic standard in Nigeria.
